Jimena Peck
Jimena Peck is an Argentinian Documentary and Editorial photographer currently based in Colorado. She holds a B.A in Journalism from TEA, Buenos Aires School of Journalism. Her Documentary work explores the lives of indigenous and rural communities in Latin America. Her editorial subjects are diverse - from portraiture, food, land and agriculture to travel and lifestyle commissions. She is currently researching and working on a long term project about Yerba Mate’s history, cultural significance, and modern cultivation in her home country, Argentina. Her curiosity always makes her want to know more, to dig deeper and find the unexpected stories behind the story being told. Her objective is to bring awareness and document the strength among people whose lives depend on vulnerable situations, but reveals an optimistic and colorful view of the world. Jimena is based in Colorado but has lived, worked, and studied in Mexico, Spain, The Netherlands, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, China, Argentina and the United Stated and speaks English and Spanish fluently.
